When a lost pet has a Pet Tap tag attached, it only takes a few moments to contact its owner – without installing any app or complicated login!
Take a few seconds to follow the steps to bring the lost pet home quickly and safely.
1. Check if the NFC Tag Reader (iOS)/NFC (Android) function is activated in your phone settings. If not, it needs to be activated.
2. With the back of the phone, touch the Pet Tap pendant attached to the pet’s collar to scan it.
3. When the tag is scanned and recognized, a confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click on the confirmation, and information about the pet and its owner will appear on the phone screen: the pet’s name, the owner’s name, a button with the owner’s phone number, and the address where the owner lives.
4. Click the button with the phone number, which will then automatically make a call to the owner.
